By consuming 90%+ less energy than UV and 70% less than Conventional LED, SST are uniquely qualified to deliver the highest reduction in energy consumption and carbon emissions of any printing technology.
As a result, SST customers have successfully qualified for many types of energy reduction subsidy, rebates, and credits including qualifying when Conventional LED can not.
These programs are dynamic and vary over time and by region.
COMMON TYPES OF PROGRAMS OFFERED:
- Credits against the amount of LED Capital Investment
- Low % or zero % loans to support the LED Capital Investment
- Credits against future monthly utility bills
- Reduced rates per kWh for future utility bills
While the application must typically be completed and submitted by the printer, we are happy to assist with the myriad of information and documentation required to apply for these programs.

- Comparable estimates of energy usage with SST LED including for:
- Curing ink
- Dissipating heat near LED chips (will become nearly zero vs chilling conventional LED)
- Chilling substrate (will become zero or nearly zero)
- Energy for exhaust systems (will become zero)
- Energy reduction for re-heating or re-cooling makeup air lost by exhausting voc’s and heat
- Recommend methods to adequately measure before and after scenarios
- Supporting Documentation
- Prior examples (as allowed by prior clients and subsidy providers)
